After market close yesterday, China-based Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ:ACTS) announced financial results for the fourth quarter and the fiscal year ended December 31. The company reported fourth-quarter net income of $0.5 million, or $0.01 per ADS, compared to $19.4 million, or $0.23 per ADS, in the year-ago period. Revenue for the fourth-quarter fell to $16.1 million, from the $27.3 million reported in the previous year. Net income for fiscal 2008 was $26.1 million, compared to $51.6 million in 2007. In 2008, revenue fell to $95.1 million, compared to $116.6 million in 2007. The company expects revenue for the first quarter of 2009 to be in the range of $8 to $11 million.
