Fresh off a win forcing Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) to pay a hefty fine, European Union (EU) regulators are at it again and have now set their sights on Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT). The Wall Street Journal reports that the EU remains frustrated with the way the software giant bundles its Internet Explorer web browser with its Windows operating system and is now seeking new remedies. According to the report, rather than seek only a fine, European regulators want Microsoft to bundle other browsers with its operating system. This would be a change in direction from past attempts to get Microsoft to strip Internet Explorer from its Windows software package.
