Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO) issued a proxy filing Thursday, stating its major executives saw considerable reductions in their 2008 bonuses, which were more than halved, as the company responded to a year that took a serious toll on its stock after an unsolicited takeover bid from Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT). For example, the company's former President Sue Decker, who left in January, had according to the filing's details, received only a $600,000 bonus for the year. When compared to the $23,000 Yahoo spent on her "car service" for the year, $600,000 would seem extremely low for an executive responsible for running a company that has over a $20 billion market cap. Meanwhile, Yahoo's CFO Blake Jorgensen, received only a $250,000 bonus for 2008.
