Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) will be forming a $100 million investment fund called Google Ventures to be used as their primary vehicle for startup investment companies. Fund manager, and co-founder of the Android OS, Rich Miner says that they will be looking to a wide variety of companies to invest in including information technology, internet products, health care, biotech and other sectors. The fund will focus on providing seed funding and early stage funding with investments sized anywhere from tens of thousands to tens of millions.
