Wednesday, Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) reported results for its fiscal third-quarter 2008. Sales for the period increased 6% to $8.4 billion, up from $7.9 billion in the year-ago period. Net earnings for the quarter rose 4.75% to $512 million, or $1.51 per share, compared with $489 million, or $1.41 per share, in the same period of 2007.
