Monday evening, Global Industries, Ltd. (NASDAQ:GLBL) announced they received a $75 million dollar project from Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex). Global Industries is a leading company specializing in offshore construction and engineering projects. The project includes the laying of 24 inch pipe over 12 km of land in Ixal Field located in the Bay of Campeche, Mexico. The project is scheduled to be finished in January 2009. Shares of Global Industries were down $1.16 to $6.57 when the market closed.
