Tuesday evening, Eagle Rock Energy Partners, L.P. (NASDAQ:EROC) announced their agreement to acquire Millennium Midstream Partners, L.P. on September 11, 2008 has been finalized today. The transaction is valued at $236 million, which includes $181 million in cash. The remaining $55 million is to be distributed as 4 million shares of Eagle Rock at $13.75 each to the sellers of Millennium Midstream. Shares of the Eagle Rock were up 61 cents to $11.42 in Wednesday morning trading.
