Friday, California-based Quest Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:QSFT), an independent software vendor, finalized a transaction to acquire NetPro Computing. NetPro Computing, Inc. provides infrastructure solutions for Microsoft software. The $78.7 million dollar transaction is expected to help better serve customers by providing more comprehensive infrastructure solutions through a combination of products from both companies. Shares of Quest Software, Inc. were down 14 cents to $13.95 in morning trading.
