Late Tuesday, United Stationers, Inc. (NASDAQ:USTR), the nation's largest provider of business products, announced it had finalized a transaction for purchasing Emco Distribution, LLC, which provides wholesale office supplies, for approximately $15 million. The move will expand the already 67 distribution centers previously under control by United Stationers. Shares of United Stationers ended the day up 14 cents to $49.72.
