Today, cable conglomerate, Comcast Corp (NASDAQ:CMCSA), posted its quarterly earnings report. The company announced a 2Q net income increase of 8% to $632 million, or $0.21 per share, from $588 million, or $0.19 per share, in the year-ago period. Revenue rose 11% to $8.55 billion from $7.7 billion last year. The company increased its customer subscriptions with high-speed internet access and discounted phone, cable, and internet bundles.
