01/25/2010-Shares of Telvent Git, S.A. (NASDAQ:TLVT) are trading 0.25% higher to $38.38 premarket Monday after the company announced it has accepted a contract valued at nearly 14.5 million euros to install its Telvent SmartMobility Tunnel solution on El Morro Alto Tunnels, which are part of DNIT's ambitious plan to improve tunnel infrastructures all over Brazilian Roads.

Telvent Chairman and CEO Manuel Sanchez commented, "We are pleased to be able to collaborate with the Brazilian Transportation and Infrastructures Authority in enhancing Brazilian critical infrastructures' safety and security with the aim of reducing accident rates."
