01/08/2010-Shares of Hydrogenics (NASDAQ:HYGS) are trading up 9% in afternoon activity on Friday following an announcement of a contract award for the development of a power system for surface mobility applications on the moon.
The contract includes an electrolyzer that uses solar power to produce both hydrogen and oxygen and a fuel cell system to be used for mobility, auxiliary, and life support systems.
