11/20/2009-AnnTaylor Stores (NYSE:ANN) reported Q3 EPS of 20 cents, ex-items, topping consensus estimates of 7 cents.
Revenues in the quarter fell to $462.4 million, and came in short of consensus estimates of $473.9 million.
Sales at stores open at least a year slid 13.7%.
AnnTaylor said it expects Q4 sales to fall "slightly" short of its Q3 results while analysts, on average, were projecting sales of $458.2 million.
