11/19/2009 - Hot Topic Inc. (NASDAQ:HOTT) shares fell 13.2% on Thursday after it announced that its Q3 revenue declined and missed analyst expectations. Hot Topic reported earnings of 13 cents per share, inline with the consensus estimates, on revenues of $189.6 million, down 4% year-over-year, short of the consensus estimates of $190.3 million. Sales in stores open at least a year fell 5%. Hot Topic expects Q4 EPS of 23 cents to 26 cents, vs. consensus estimates of 25 cents.
