11/19/2009-According to a financial journalism panel hosted by Vanity Fair and Bloomberg News, John Mack, CEO of Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), said that "Regulators have to be much more involved," when asked about increased presence of federal regulation.

Surprisingly, Mr. Mack said, "We cannot control ourselves," adding that "I love it." Mack said regulators forced him to watch the level of risk the bank took on.

However, when asked about certain year-ago events, including the Mitsubishi Financial UFJ (NYSE:MTU) investment, he angrily dismissed the accounts.
