11/18/2009-According to ComScore's most recent numbers, Microsoft's (NASDAQ:MSFT) Bing accounted for 9.9% of internet searches in the October period of 2009.
The search engine is up 1.4% for the year and 0.5% in September alone, extremely impressive considering bing.com was launched on May 28th, 2009.
That compares with Yahoo's (NASDAQ:YHOO) 3% loss this year and a 2.4% rise for Google (NASDAQ:GOOG).
