10/31/2009-Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) spokesman said the carrier apologized to a mother and her loud two year old who were kicked off a plane this past week. Spokesman Chris Mainz said the airline called Pamela Root Friday and apologized, and refunded her with a $300 travel voucher. According to the report, Root and her child were kicked off the San Jose-bound flight because passengers were unable to hear the safety announcements over the child.
