9/30/2009 - In her second day of public speaking regarding the possibility to host Boeing's (NYSE:BA) assembly line for the 787 Dreamliner, Washington Governor Chris Gregoire said that even if the state fails to secure the line, it won't mean the end of aerospace in Washington, according to an AP report. She said, "With regard to the second 787, very clear statement made to me: There's nothing more that you can do. We are on the road to making a decision, everything that is on the table is on the table." Her state is competing with South Carolina to host Boeing's facilities.
