9/30/2009 - Richard Cantor, chief credit officer at Moody's (NYSE:MCO), said in testimony that the company has reviewed the allegations of the former analyst that went to congress with complaints of inflated ratings and conflicts of interest, and finds them to be "unsupported," according to an AP report. Edolphus Towns (D-NY) said that if true, the allegations "indicate troubling behavior" in the industry. Shares of Moody's are down 7.5% during early Wednesday trading.
