8/31/2009 - Dynamics Research Corp. (NASDAQ:DRCO) announced it was awarded two task orders from the Air Force valued at $14.3 million. The work has a period of performance of two years and enables the continuation and expansion of work currently performed the company, which supports the Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Under the terms of the agreement, DRC will provide the 303rd Reconnaissance and 516th Mobility Aeronautical Systems Wings with acquisition management, test, evaluation, engineering, acquisition logistics, configuration, data management, security management, administrative support, and contracting support services. DRC's senior vice president and general manager of the Acquisition Management and Engineering Group Robert L. Smith said, "DRC is pleased to continue its support of the Air Force through the delivery of mission-critical services to the Aeronautical Systems Center, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Research Laboratory, and other key Air Force organizations."
