Sun Communities has the Highest EV/EBITDA Ratio in the Residential REITs Industry (SUI, ESS, NXRT, UMH, AVB)

Below are the three companies in the Residential REITs industry with the highest enterprise value to EBITDA (EV/EBITDA) ratios. EV/EBITDA is an important metric used in valuing comparable companies. It is capital structure neutral and generally the lower the ratio, the more undervalued the company is believed to be.

Sun Communities ranks highest with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 34.09. Essex Property is next with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 29.21. Nexpoint Resi ranks third highest with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 29.17.

Umh Properties I follows with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 28.09, and Avalonbay Commun rounds out the top five with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 26.13.
