Highest EV/EBITDA Ratio in the Broadcasting Industry Detected in Shares of EW Scripps (SSP, MEG, NXST, CBS, SNI)

Below are the three companies in the Broadcasting industry with the highest enterprise value to EBITDA (EV/EBITDA) ratios. EV/EBITDA is an important metric used in valuing comparable companies. It is capital structure neutral and generally the lower the ratio, the more undervalued the company is believed to be.

EW Scripps ranks highest with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 20.95. Following is Media General with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 19.59. Nexstar Broadcasting Group ranks third highest with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 12.09.

CBS follows with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 12.04, and Scripps Networks Interactive rounds out the top five with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 8.79.
