Shares of Reynolds American Rank the Highest in Terms of Level of Cash in the Tobacco Industry (RAI, PM, MO, VGR, AOI)

Below are the three companies in the Tobacco industry with the highest cash equivalents (CE). Analysts use CE as a measure to compare the cash cushion of companies in the same industry.

Reynolds American ranks highest with a CE of $3,000. Philip Morris is next with a CE of $2,000. Altria Group ranks third highest with a CE of $2,000.

Vector Group follows with a CE of $535, and Alliance One International rounds out the top five with a CE of $164.
