Highest Level of Cash in the Railroads Industry Detected in Shares of Union Pacific (UNP, CSX, NSC, KSU, GWR)

Below are the three companies in the Railroads industry with the highest cash equivalents (CE). Analysts use CE as a measure to compare the cash cushion of companies in the same industry.

Union Pacific ranks highest with a CE of $1,000. Following is CSX with a CE of $1,000. Norfolk Southern ranks third highest with a CE of $956.

Kansas City Southern follows with a CE of $171, and Genesee & Wyoming rounds out the top five with a CE of $32.
