Watch for Kohls Corp to Potentially Pullback After Gaining 2.73% Yesterday

Kohls Corp (NYSE:KSS) traded in a range yesterday that spanned from a low of $38.72 to a high of $40.17. Yesterday, the shares gained 2.7%, which took the trading range above the 3-day high of $39.13 on volume of 1.7 million shares. Often times after large one-day gains, short term traders will seek to take profits and, as such, investors should be cautious.

Over the past year, Kohls Corp has traded in a range of $35.16 to $59.67 and is now at $39.91, 14% above that low. The 200-day and 50-day moving averages have moved 0.8% lower and 0.29% lower over the past week, respectively.
