Universal has the Lowest Revenue Per Employee in the Tobacco Industry (UVV, PM, AOI, VGR, RAI)

Below are the three companies in the Tobacco industry with the lowest Revenue Per Employee (RPE). Analysts use RPE as a measure to compare the productivity of companies in the same industry.

Universal ranks lowest with a an RPE of $84,000. Philip Morris is next with a an RPE of $335,000. Alliance One International ranks third lowest with a an RPE of $634,000.

Vector Group follows with a an RPE of $1.1 million, and Reynolds American rounds out the bottom five with a an RPE of $1.8 million.
