Below are the top five companies in the Pharmaceuticals industry as measured by relative performance. This analysis was compiled based on yesterday's trading activity as we search for stocks that have the potential to outperform.
Vivus (NASDAQ:VVUS) ranks first with a gain of 10.81%; Abbott Laboratories (NYSE:ABT) ranks second with a gain of 2.55%; and Medicines Co (NASDAQ:MDCO) ranks third with a gain of 0.95%.
Nektar Therapeutics (NASDAQ:NKTR) follows with a gain of 0.5% and Salix Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:SLXP) rounds out the top five with a gain of 0.21%.
