Southwest Airlines has the Best Relative Performance in the Airlines Industry (LUV, CPA, UAL, JBLU, DAL)

Here are the top 5 stocks in the Airlines industry ranked by performance. We compiled the trading activity from yesterday and then analyzed the industry looking for stocks that were outperforming. This is what we found:

Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) ranks first with a gain of 3.40%; Copa Holdings (NYSE:CPA) ranks second with a gain of 2.81%; and United Continental Holdings (NYSE:UAL) ranks third with a gain of 1.68%.

JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ:JBLU) follows with a gain of 1.16% and Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) rounds out the top five with a gain of 0.98%.
