SmarTrend Watching for Potential Pullback in Shares of General Electric After 3.64% Gain

General Electric (NYSE:GE) traded in a range yesterday that spanned from a low of $13.36 to a high of $13.87. Yesterday, the shares gained 3.6%, which took the trading range above the 3-day high of $13.68 on volume of 36.0 million shares. Often times after large one-day gains, short term traders will seek to take profits and, as such, investors should be cautious.
