Shares of Vantage Drilling Rank the Highest in terms of Level of Efficiency in the Oil & Gas Drilling Industry (VTG, ESV, DO, SDRL, ATW)

Below are the top five most-efficient companies in the Oil & Gas Drilling industry as ranked by Revenue Per Employee (RPE). Analysts use RPE as a measure to compare the productivity of companies in the same industry.
Vantage Drilling (AMEX:VTG) ranks first with an RPE of $1.05M; ENSCO International (NYSE:ESV) ranks second with an RPE of $0.64M; and Diamond Offshore Drilling (NYSE:DO) ranks third with an RPE of $0.63M.
Seadrill (NYSE:SDRL) follows with an RPE of $0.63M and Atwood Oceanics (NYSE:ATW) rounds out the top five with an RPE of $0.52M.
SmarTrend currently has shares of Atwood Oceanics in an Downtrend and issued the Downtrend alert on September 21, 2011 at $38.35. The stock has fallen 7.4% since the Downtrend alert was issued.
