Below are the top five companies in the Biotechnology industry as measured by relative performance. This analysis was compiled based on yesterday's trading activity as we search for stocks that have the potential to outperform.
Theravance (NASDAQ:THRX) ranks first with a gain of 6.66%; Sangamo Biosciences (NASDAQ:SGMO) ranks second with a gain of 6.3%; and Pharmasset (NASDAQ:VRUS) ranks third with a gain of 5.87%.
BioMarin Pharmaceutical (NASDAQ:BMRN) follows with a gain of 3.13% and Vertex Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:VRTX) rounds out the top five with a gain of 1.34%.
