Shares of Skywest Rank the Lowest in Terms of Return on Equity in the Airlines Industry (SKYW, CPA, JBLU, LUV, ALK)

Below are the three companies in the Airlines industry with the lowest return on equity. The ROE is a general indication of the company's efficiency; investors usually look for companies with ROEs that are high and are growing.

Skywest ranks lowest with a ROE of -1,131.0%. Copa Holdings is next with a ROE of 1,978.7%. JetBlue Airways ranks third lowest with a ROE of 2,076.7%.

Southwest Airlines follows with a ROE of 2,836.9%, and Alaska Air Group rounds out the bottom five with a ROE of 3,047.5%.
