Below are the top five cash rich companies in the Housewares & Specialties industry as ranked by Cash Equivalents (CE). Analysts use CE as a measure to compare the cash cushion of companies in the same industry.
Jarden (NYSE:JAH) ranks first with CE of $951M; Fortune Brands (NYSE:FO) ranks second with CE of $289.7M; and Newell Rubbermaid (NYSE:NWL) ranks third with CE of $253M.
Blyth (NYSE:BTH) follows with a CE of $183.36M and National Presto Industries (NYSE:NPK) rounds out the top five with a CE of $142.81M.
