Below are the top five most-efficient companies in the Broadcasting industry as ranked by Revenue Per Employee (RPE). Analysts use RPE as a measure to compare the productivity of companies in the same industry.
Crown Media (NASDAQ:CRWN) ranks first with an RPE of $1.78M; Global Traffic Network (NASDAQ:GNET) ranks second with an RPE of $1.58M; and Scripps Networks Interactive (NYSE:SNI) ranks third with an RPE of $1.08M.
Discovery Communications (NASDAQ:DISCA) follows with an RPE of $0.94M and CTC Media (NASDAQ:CTCM) rounds out the top five with an RPE of $0.63M.
