School Specialty has the Highest Debt to Equity Ratio in the Research and Consulting Services Industry (SCHS, EXBD, VRSK, IHS, HIL)

Below are the three companies in the Research and Consulting Services industry with the highest debt to equity ratios. The Debt/Equity ratio measures a company's leverage and a high level often implies that a company has financed much of its growth with debt.

School Specialty ranks highest with a a debt to equity ratio of 7.0. Following is Corporate Executive Board with a a debt to equity ratio of 3.7. Verisk Analytics ranks third highest with a a debt to equity ratio of 2.1.

IHS Inc follows with a a debt to equity ratio of 1.0, and Hill International rounds out the top five with a a debt to equity ratio of 1.0.
