Relatively High Debt to Asset Ratio Detected in Shares of Barrick Gold in the Gold Industry (ABX, NEM, RGLD, AEM, BVN)

Below are the three companies in the Gold industry with the highest debt to asset ratios. The Debt/Asset ratio shows the proportion of a company's assets that are financed through debt. If the ratio is greater than one, most of the company's assets are financed through debt.

Barrick Gold ranks highest with a a debt to asset ratio of 0.39. Newmont Mining is next with a a debt to asset ratio of 0.25. Royal Gold ranks third highest with a a debt to asset ratio of 0.21.

Agnico-Eagle Mines follows with a a debt to asset ratio of 0.18, and Cia de Minas Buenaventura rounds out the top five with a a debt to asset ratio of 0.12.
