Below are the top five companies in the Residential REITs industry as measured by relative performance. This analysis was compiled based on yesterday's trading activity as we search for stocks that have the potential to outperform.
Home Properties (NYSE:HME) ranks first with a gain of 3.37%; American Campus Communities (NYSE:ACC) ranks second with a gain of 1.81%; and AvalonBay Communities (NYSE:AVB) ranks third with a gain of 1.45%.
Mid-America Apartment Communities (NYSE:MAA) follows with a gain of 1.16% and BRE Properties (NYSE:BRE) rounds out the top five with a gain of 0.95%.
