Lowest Beta in the Food Distributors Industry Detected in Shares of Nash Finch (NAFC, UNFI, SPTN, SYY, ANDE)

Below are the top five companies in the Food Distributors industry as measured by beta. Lower-beta stocks mean minimal volatility and are therefore generally considered to be a less risk and offer more stable returns.
Nash Finch (NASDAQ:NAFC) ranks first with a beta of 0.6; United Natural Foods (NASDAQ:UNFI) ranks second with a beta of 0.7; and Spartan Stores (NASDAQ:SPTN) ranks third with a beta of 0.8.
Sysco (NYSE:SYY) follows with a beta of 0.9 and Andersons (NASDAQ:ANDE) rounds out the top five with a beta of 1.
