Lowest Beta in the Consumer Electronics Industry Detected in Shares of Panasonic (PC, SNE, UEIC, GRMN, MSN)

Below are the top five companies in the Consumer Electronics industry as measured by beta. Lower-beta stocks mean minimal volatility and are therefore generally considered to be a less risk and offer more stable returns.
Panasonic (NYSE:PC) ranks first with a beta of 0.7; Sony (NYSE:SNE) ranks second with a beta of 1; and Universal Electronics (NASDAQ:UEIC) ranks third with a beta of 1.
Garmin (NASDAQ:GRMN) follows with a beta of 1 and Emerson Radio (AMEX:MSN) rounds out the top five with a beta of 1.2.
