Look for Shares of Regions Financia to Potentially Pullback after Yesterday's 1.74% Rise

Regions Financia (NYSE:RF) traded in a range yesterday that spanned from a low of $17.41 to a high of $17.86. Yesterday, the shares gained 1.7%, which took the trading range above the 3-day high of $17.70 on volume of 3.6 million shares. Often times after large one-day gains, short term traders will seek to take profits and, as such, investors should be cautious.

Regions Financia share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $20.21 and a 52-week low of $15.06 and are now trading 18% above that low price at $17.84 per share. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day moving average (MA) has fallen 0.6% while the 200-day MA has remained constant.
