Huntsman has the Highest Debt to Equity Ratio in the Diversified Chemicals Industry (HUN, EMN, LXU, DOW, DD)

Below are the three companies in the Diversified Chemicals industry with the highest debt to equity ratios. The Debt/Equity ratio measures a company's leverage and a high level often implies that a company has financed much of its growth with debt.

Huntsman ranks highest with a a debt to equity ratio of 3.0. Following is Eastman Chemical with a a debt to equity ratio of 1.9. LSB Industries ranks third highest with a a debt to equity ratio of 1.2.

Dow Chemical follows with a a debt to equity ratio of 1.0, and EI Du Pont de Nemours rounds out the top five with a a debt to equity ratio of 0.9.
