Highest Return on Equity in the Systems Software Industry Detected in Shares of Microsoft (MSFT, BMC, ARST, ORCL, EVOL)

Below are the top five companies in the Systems Software industry as measured by return on equity (ROE). The ROE is a general indication of the company's efficiency; Investors usually look for companies with ROEs that are high and are growing.
Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) ranks first with an ROE of 41.8%; BMC Software (NYSE:BMC) ranks second with an ROE of 33.3%; and ArcSight (NASDAQ:ARST) ranks third with an ROE of 26.7%.
Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) follows with an ROE of 22% and Evolving Systems (NASDAQ:EVOL) rounds out the top five with an ROE of 20.2%.
