Below are the top five most-efficient companies in the Biotechnology industry as ranked by Revenue Per Employee (RPE). Analysts use RPE as a measure to compare the productivity of companies in the same industry.
PDL BioPharma (NASDAQ:PDLI) ranks first with an RPE of $45.37M; Trimeris (NASDAQ:TRMS) ranks second with an RPE of $3.46M; and Amylin Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:AMLN) ranks third with an RPE of $2.11M.
Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ:GILD) follows with an RPE of $1.96M and Keryx Biopharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:KERX) rounds out the top five with an RPE of $1.68M.
