Google May Execute Plan To Shut Its Search Engine In China (GOOG)

3/13/2010- Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) has created a detailed plan to shut its search engine in China and is nearly positive it is going to move forward with the closure, according to a Financial Times report, which cited a person familiar with the matter.
The company may make the decision soon and said it will take time to execute the plan in order to avoid staff reprisals from authorities.
A Google spokesperson declined to comment on the matter.
