Below are the top five companies in the Electric Utilities industry as measured by relative performance. This analysis was compiled based on yesterday's trading activity as we search for stocks that have the potential to outperform.
Cia Energetica de Minas Gerais (NYSE:CIG) ranks first with a gain of 6.76%; Cia Paranaense de Energia (NYSE:ELP) ranks second with a gain of 4.85%; and PNM Resources (NYSE:PNM) ranks third with a gain of 4.54%.
CPFL Energia (NYSE:CPL) follows with a gain of 4.19% and Unisource Energy (NYSE:UNS) rounds out the top five with a gain of 3.89%.
