Apple is Among the Companies in the Computer Hardware Industry With the Highest Level of Efficiency (AAPL, SMCI, DELL, SGI, CRAY)

Below are the top five most-efficient companies in the Computer Hardware industry as ranked by Revenue Per Employee (RPE). Analysts use RPE as a measure to compare the productivity of companies in the same industry.
Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) ranks first with an RPE of $2.15M; Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ:SMCI) ranks second with an RPE of $0.93M; and Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) ranks third with an RPE of $0.6M.
Silicon Graphics International (NYSE:SGI) follows with an RPE of $0.42M and Cray (NASDAQ:CRAY) rounds out the top five with an RPE of $0.42M.
SmarTrend currently has shares of Silicon Graphics International in an Downtrend and issued the Downtrend alert on May 17, 2011 at $17.81. The stock has fallen 27.7% since the Downtrend alert was issued.
