Highest EV/EBITDA Ratio in the Water Utilities Industry Detected in Shares of Connecticut Water Service (CTWS, WTR, MSEX, YORW, CWT)

Below are the three companies in the Water Utilities industry with the highest enterprise value to EBITDA (EV/EBITDA) ratios. EV/EBITDA is an important metric used in valuing comparable companies. It is capital structure neutral and generally the lower the ratio, the more undervalued the company is believed to be.

Connecticut Water Service ranks highest with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 18.30. Aqua America is next with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 17.44. Middlesex Water ranks third highest with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 16.92.

York Water follows with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 16.78, and California Water Service rounds out the top five with a an EV/EBITDA ratio of 15.45.
