Top 5 Companies in the Real Estate Development Industry With the Highest Enterprise Value to Sales Ratio (HOFD, HHC, STRS, MLP, FOR)

Below are the three companies in the Real Estate Development industry with the highest Enterprise Value (EV) to Sales ratios. EV/Sales gives investors an idea of how much it costs to buy the company's sales and the lower the ratio, the more undervalued the company is believed to be.

Homefed ranks highest with a EV/Sales of 14.17. Following is Howard Hughes with a EV/Sales of 8.23. Stratus Properties ranks third highest with a EV/Sales of 4.77.

Maui Land & Pineapple follows with a EV/Sales of 3.74, and Forestar Group rounds out the top five with a EV/Sales of 3.53.
